Mini Biography
Brooke Langton was born in a copper mining town in Arizona, her mother was a surgical nurse and her father was a Geologist. Her grandfather, Steven Cummings, was a B-24 pilot in WWII, his Captain was the actor James Stewart. After hearing his many stories, she fell in love with Stewart's films. Then came Spencer Tracy, Peter Sellers and Blade Runner (1982), and she was sold. She moved with her family from Illinois to Texas, and in Euless, Texas, entered the drama department in her high school, but the love of the sea sent her directly to San Diego State University, majoring in marine biology. She studied acting with Larry Moss in Los Angeles and pursued her passion for acting with an audition for the television show "Freshman Dorm" (1992). Then came her first pilot and a William Morris contract. Her first film debut was Terminal Velocity (1994) with Charlie Sheen. She has also produced and written songs for her television series "The Net" (1998) and the film Playing Mona Lisa (2000). In January of 2004, she was in her first musical "Dear Bernard".

Her grandfather, Steven Cummings, was a B-24 pilot in WWII, his Captain was the actor James Stewart. After hearing his many stories, she fell in love with Stewart's films. Then came Spencer Tracy Langton studied Marine Biology at San Diego State University before making the leap from the classroom to the small screen. Living in Japan and modeling for eight months before moving to L.A. to pursue a career in acting, Langton got involved with theater in Portland and Texas before breaking into television on Baywatch and Beverly Hills 90210. After appearing in such made-for-television movies as Moment of Truth: A Mother's Deception (1994) and Eye of the Stalker (1995), Langton landed a role on 90210's mature (at least age-wise) cousin, Melrose Place. Later gaining notice for her role in Doug Liman's breakthrough indie hit Swingers in 1996, Langton returned to television for her role in The Net before going back to the big screen in The Replacements (2000). After the cancellation of The Net, Langton began work on another television series, When I Grow Up (2001). Following the cancellation of that short-lived series, Langton returned to the big screen with roles in Playing Mona Lisa, Kiss the Bride, and The Hulk. She is engaged to be married to Carl Hagmier in February 2005.
Perhaps best known for her stint on Melrose Place, Brooke Langton has done solid work in a number of TV shows, including Baywatch, Chicago Hope and The Net, as well as movies such as Swingers, Reach the Rock, The Replacements, and Kiss the Bride.
Brooke Langton was born in a copper-mining town in Arizona . Her father, whom she describes as a "poetic, foul-mouthed geologist," and her mother divorced when she was young, and she moved around with her mother, first to Illinois, then to Euless, Texas, where she grew up.

Later, she moved to Portland, Oregon, where she became involved in theater; she even spent a few months working in Japan as a model in commercials.

Back stateside, Brooke went to San Diego State University, where she studied marine biology. By the early 1990s, she had settled down in Los Angeles, where she began to pursue acting full-time.

In 1992, she had guest starring roles on Baywatch and Beverly
On the move while she was growing up, Brooke Langton broadened her horizons with travel, from working in Japan to diving off the Australian coast. She built her acting credentials in the 1990s on such shows as Baywatch, Chicago Hope and Melrose Place; then she achieved steady success in sleeper hits and independent films, beginning with Swingers (1996).

Sadly, Brooke has never been able to get off the B-list. Despite a decade in film and television, she's had minor roles in big projects (such as the hit football comedy, The Replacements), and big roles in minor ones (including a few outright flops). She's probably most known for her brief relationship with George Clooney. And even Clooney's ex-girlfriends aren't a small group.
est known for her ingenue work as Samantha Reilly on Fox's "Melrose Place" from 1995 to 1998, the attractive Brooke Langton has begun to carve out a feature film career with role as a jilted lesbian in "Listen" and the object of the eyes of one of the "Swingers" (both 1996). Born in Arizona and raised in Texas, the brunette beauty began her career as a model, working primarily in Japan. Like many before her, she made the transition to acting beginning on TV in 1992 episodes of such series as "Freshman Dorm" and "Beverly Hills, 90210". But her first real break came two years later when she was chosen to be leading lady to William McNamara in "The Wyatts", an unsold Fox pilot which did run as a TV-movie. That same year, she played daughter to Joan Van Ark and Stephen Macht in "Moment of Truth: A Mother's Deception" (NBC), in which Van Ark stuns her family by joining a cult. Langton had her first regular series role in "Extreme" (ABC, 1995), as Sarah Bowen, a waitress turned rescue team member working for James Brolin. She continued in TV-movies with the lead as a woman harassed by a deranged man but whose judge father can do nothing to help her in "Eyes of the Stalker" (NBC, 1995). Langton also played the girlfriend to Jonathan Silverman's "The Single Guy" in several 1995 episodes.
Although a buzz was created around her based on her role in "Swingers", Langton had made her film debut as a junkie in "Terminal Velocity" (1994). She went on to play a woman in the life of a young movie star in Matthew Harrison's "Project 61" (lensed in 1996) and was the object of single night's competition between a young man and a cop in "Reach the Rock" (1998). Following her stint on "Melrose", she inherited Sandra Bullock's big screen role of Angela Bennett in the USA Network spin-off series "The Net" (1998-99). Langton offered fine support to Alicia Witt in the festival-screened comedy "Playing Mona Lisa" and tackled the romantic lead opposite Keanu Reeves in "The Replacements" (both 2000).
